PFV on a napkin

The whole method. Rough math on purpose — good enough to point at the problem.

1 Pick one thing you do over and over:
2 How many are open right now?
3 How many finish in a week? — weeks each (open ÷ finished = how long each one really takes)
4 Add up the honest hands-on hours for one of them:
—% is real work  ·  —% is waiting
5 Your longest single wait, in days:
6 Fix the biggest wait first. Then count again.

Napkin math: weeks = open ÷ finished-per-week (Little’s Law) · a week ≈ 40 working hours · nothing you type leaves this page.
